Weight-loss for India.
If you know me, you know that I am a fatty. I have been trying to motivate myself to loose weight, and I finally came up with a solution. All this “do it for yourself, just isn’t going to cut it, so I thought I would do it for India”. I have heard all about Stephanie’s trip, and the wonderful couple who run a children’s home, so I have decided that I will loose weight to raise money for the home. I will do it for the children. Will you sponser me? Please?
Hi,
The last time I tried to exercise, without watching my diet I actually Gained 10 kg over 5 months, so losing weight is, unfortunately, 3/4 diet, 1/4 exercise.
We (Gary and I) have managed to lose weight by reducing our carbohydrate intake. (cutting out sugar, bread, pasta and potatoes) We substitute a lower carb vege instead… Mashed cauliflower instead of mashed potato, finely sliced cabbage fried up with our pasta sauce rather than pasta. We also have cut way back on cheese.
I wish you all the best for this undertaking and remember, slow and steady is the way to go.
Love
Margaret.
Thanks Margaret. I think my issue is not my regular meals, but the heaps of chocolate that I have eaten over the years. Am keeping a strict eye on the calories though, thanks.
Go sister! I will sponsor you $200!
Wow! Thanks Nicky. I would call you, but I just spoke to you and you said you were on the way to work. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
