Christmas Doings.
The morning began with present opening around 6am. The tradition in our family is that I fill up a sack for each child, leave it on their bed before midnight, and then they bring it up to our bedroom in the morning. There is always much excitement. Personally I think that the present giving was tame this year, I tried not to overdo it, and the children were the better for it.
We headed off to Church in the morning (as this is what Christmas is really all about isn’t it, Christ?) Jared preached a great mini sermon. I feel so encouraged when he preaches, I actually want to cry. He spoke of Jesus’s name, meaning “God saves”. God became man, so that he could die for sinners (that’s me, and you folks).
We then went for lunch to my Sister and brother in-laws. It was a very peaceful Christmas. It was lovely to re-connect with the children. They all get along really well.
It was lovely just to see them all together.
Jared gave me 1 TB of external hard drive, cool as! Now I can take photos like a crazy woman. Hee hee. Look what Steph crocheted me.

We drove home at 4pm, so we missed the major traffic home. .we have eaten another, yummy roast. We are watching Get Smart now, but it’s when they are older (don’t bother buying it, it’s stupid).
